Arrived Safely

Safely arrived and after only 5 hrs at the airport made it back to Palm Bay.

Monday, arrived at the plant and immediately put out fires all over the place.
Tuesday, Corrected errant software left to languish in my absence.

Sad Really, I left a running Debian machine containing All Embedded Linux Code.
It was abandoned in the corner with two Unix reference books on the desk. Meanwhile, they had setup a windows machine across the room as far away as possible.

First thing to be done was to turn it on. Amazingly I verified that they had managed to get the code they wanted over to the windows machine before turning it off.

Finding the page of yet to be implemented features waiting for me, I went straight to work. By the end of Monday, there were only two left. By Tuesday afternoon, feature page was empty.

What am I going to do with the next 13days? There are other projects here that require my attention as well. I didn't think I would have the time to get to them, well, I was so wrong.

Pam called to let me know that our little girl made it off to her new school in cute new school clothes this morning. Wish I was there, she reassures me with the note that she took pictures.

Back to the grind.

Florida Trip

Heading Back to Palm Bay for 2 weeks.
Needed a place to record my thoughts.

Herein starts the Blog.

Leaving just before my Daughter starts her first day at new school.
Kind of Bummed about that. I'm sure she'll be fine.
Mom is more than capable of handling things while I'm away.

Needed onsite for contract, no choice, but to go.
Embedded Linux can be such a harsh mistress.

Hoping all goes well. Good Luck kiddo.
